I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing mental health treatment for the Greater Hartford area.  I combine the practice of prescribing medications and engaging in psychotherapy to tailor treatment. I have been in  practicing for the past 10+ years, this includes experience in the outpatient setting, acting as a preceptor, and providing psychiatric consultation.  Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I worked in various levels of nursing including: nursing education, hospitals, psychiatric institutes, nursing homes, and prisons.  Through these experiences I have become passionate about sharing knowledge, building relationships and encouraging personal development..
